For over fifteen years, we have been dedicated to providing quality education in various specialties of the field of Alternative Medicine in Canada. We are committed to advancing the values and benefits of Complementary Medicine in Canadian society and to assuring the quality of service and integrity of those alternative healthcare practitioners, who successfully complete their education with us. Our College proudly stands behind the multitude of practitioners, who upon completion of our programs each gain the tools and confidence needed to build successful practice in Alternative Medicine. Our graduates have for years served the needs of their communities, providing patients with complementary care and using methods different from the typical Western Medicine approach, to aid in healing process, remove pain, and provide more natural solutions to a variety of health problems and concerns. We are also proud to be affiliated with and recognized by a number of Canadian associations of alternative healthcare practitioners, as well, as work in partnership with international associations and educational institutions abroad. All of us at CMCC are looking forward to the process of Government licensing in the profession of Acupuncture, as we believe this will further ensure the quality of services provided and maintain the field of Alternative Medicine on the right course in Canadian Society in the future.

Traditional Chinese Medicine program offers students the knowledge and skills necessary to become proficient in two central disciplines that dominate the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine – Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine.
The first and larger part of the course introduces students to history and philosophy of Acupuncture and provides practical training in diagnostic and treatment techniques. Students are taken step by step, from understanding the theory of Acupuncture to practical implementation of their knowledge in diagnosing and addressing a variety of patient health problems and concerns, as well as, a number of additional health benefit programs, such as the stop smoking, weight loss and other treatments.
The second part of the course focuses on the role Herbal Medicine plays in the school of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Students are introduced to the history and theory of Herbal Medicine, are instructed in classification of the herbs and in their basic properties. Going deeper into the subject, students learn the traditional formulas of the main herb combinations as, well, as how to create custom combinations of their own to target specific patient needs.
At the end of the course, all students are tested on their knowledge in the final exam. Upon the successful completion of the exam, the students are certified, awarded diplomas in Traditional Chinese Medicine and are then eligible to join professional associations and practice Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine in Canada.
Osteopathy program is designed to provide students with comprehensive education in the field of Osteopathic Medicine, offering the understanding of its theoretical principles and the mastery of its practical techniques, which together produce highly skilled and successful practitioners.
The program takes students through history and the development of the Osteopathic Medicine, familiarizing them with its core principles, its areas of focus and its unique approach to the healing process. Learning the philosophy and theory that form the foundation of the methods of Osteopathy, gives students an enhanced understanding of these methods, when they are taught to apply them in practice. The focus on the close interconnected relationship between the structure and the function of the body is made, as well, as on the role of the osteopath in utilizing various aspects of this relationship in order to greatly enhance and speed up the body’s natural ability to heal itself, rather than using the more common disruptive approaches.
Students study the structure of the human body, with a focus on the relationships between the musculoskeletal system, internal organs and the nervous system. The course introduces the diagnostic methods used in the Osteopathic Medicine, the skills of recognition and identification of problems and selection of appropriate osteopathic treatments. Special section dealing with safety focuses on situations where osteopathic manipulation should be avoided, and instructs in standard safety practices in Osteopathic Medicine. Throughout the course, students learn and become proficient in the use of numerous osteopathic manipulation techniques and their uses, aiming to ensure patient comfort and safety while achieving the most effective professional results.
At the end of the course, all students are tested in the final exam. Upon the successful completion of the exam, the students are certified, awarded diplomas in Osteopathy (DOmt) and are then eligible to join professional associations and practice Osteopathy in Canada.
Aroma Massage Therapy program is designed to provide students with comprehensive education in the field of Aroma Massage, offering the understanding of its theoretical principles and the mastery of its practical techniques, which together produce highly skilled and successful practitioners.
The program introduces students to the principles of Aromatherapy and Massage, familiarizing them with their scope and methods, and the combined effect of their techniques working together to create Aroma Massage Therapy. Being taught theory of the discipline and required knowledge of the human body prepares students for learning the practical skills of providing treatment. Studying human musculoskeletal system as well as learning about essential oils, proper blending of these oils and their effects when used in combination with massage techniques, allows students to master and maximize the healing effects of Aroma Massage Therapy treatment.
Students learn diagnostic methods, the skills of recognition and identification of problems and selection of appropriate treatments. Special section dealing with safety focuses on instructing students in standard safety practices in Aroma Massage Therapy. Throughout the course, students learn and become proficient in the use of numerous massage techniques and their appropriate accompanying essential oils, learning to achieve the best therapeutic results while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
At the end of the course, all students are tested in the final exam. Upon the successful completion of the exam, the students are certified, and are then eligible to join professional associations and practice Aroma Massage Therapy in Canada.
